User Agreement

BECAUSE THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CONTAIN LEGAL OBLIGATIONS, PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE USING A SERVICE PROVIDED THROUGH THE ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS, LLC. WEBSITE.
Alliance for Missions, LLC (“Alliance for Missions”) an Alabama limited liability company, with offices in Huntsville, Alabama, USA, and the internet USER, which will be known in this agreement as USER, here identified by his/her username, hereby agree as follows:
By accessing this School, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. If the USER does not want to agree to these Terms and Conditions, the USER must not access or use the Service provided through the website. Alliance for Missions reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. It is the USER’s responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions from time to time to be aware of any updates. USER’s continued use of any Service following posting of the updated Terms and Conditions will constitute USER’s acceptance of the changes.
1. THE SERVICE. Alliance for Missions shall provide the USER through our website, with the following pre-recorded course materials and instruction in the Spanish language:

· Christian Life 1-12, Bibliology, Hermeneutics, Genesis, Pentateuch, Discipleship 1-3, Theology Proper, Matthew, Acts, Apologetics 1, Creationism, Names of God, Romans, Galatians, Apologetics 2, The Bible and Finances, Pneumatology, Survey of Old Testament, Evangelism, Survey of New Testament, , 1st Corinthians, 2nd Corinthians, Biblical Anthropology, Prison Epistles, Hamartiology, Christology, 1st & 2nd Thessalonians , Epistles Of John, Epistles Of Peter, Poetical Books I, Historical Books I, Biblical Geography, Historical Books 2, James, Major Prophetic Books, Gospel Of John, Hebrews, Angelology, Minor Prophetic Books, Poetic Books 2, Christian Home, Eschatology, Ecclesiology, Daniel, Soteriology, Revelation, Isaiah, Jude, Church History I, Church History 2, and Pastoral Epistles.
· The duration of the courses may vary. There are courses whose duration is one (1) week, others two (2) weeks, others three (3) weeks and others four (4) weeks. Specific information on the duration of each course is published on our website in the Academic Program section. Alliance for Missions reserves the right to delete or change the length of any course at any time.
· For each course the USER shall receive five (5) video lectures each week, and five (5) online quizzes. When the USER has watched each video lectures and passed the corresponding quiz, our system will allow him to have access to the next video lecture and so on. The system allows viewing a maximum of five video lectures per week.
· USER shall pay a flat monthly fee which will be published on our website. The monthly fee varies by country and can be modified by Alliance for Missions at any time.
· All fees shall be paid to Alliance for Missions through Teachable payments powered by Stripe or any other online payment system that Alliance for Missions prefers.
· USER acknowledges and understands that the course instruction is entirely Internet-based. Accordingly, it is understood and agreed that interruptions in service occasionally occur. USER accepts and acknowledges that all instruction material is provided “as-is” with no representations or warranties of fitness for any particular purpose, and no implied warranties of merchantability, or other warranty of any type.
The above-described services shall begin on the date the USER signs up into our system through our website. The access to the services will remain ACTIVE as long as the USER is current in the payment of the monthly fee. The USER will have access to study those courses ONE AT A TIME after completing the prerequisite for each specific course. A Certificate of Completion for each course will be granted after approving all the quizzes included in that course. A Diploma will be granted only to the USER who completes a two-year program or a three-year program. If, those requisites are not met, NO Certificates or Diplomas will be awarded.
2. NON-ACCREDITATION. USER has been informed and acknowledges that Alliance for Missions and its Online Bible Seminary is not an accredited educational institution, and that it is a for-profit entity. USER acknowledges that the instruction provided herein pursuant to this Agreement is intended for the USER’s personal benefit, and will not be used otherwise, except for the propagation of the Christian faith.
3. TERMINATION. Either the USER or Alliance for Missions may terminate the USER’s account at any time, for any reason, or for no reason at all, without explanation. Use of the Service is subject to compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Alliance for Missions reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate the USER’s access to the Service, without notice, upon the USER’s breach of this Agreement. The USER agrees that all fees previously paid to Alliance for Missions are non-refundable.
4. CHANGES IN THE SERVICE. Alliance for Missions reserves the right to modify the Services from time to time, for any reason, and without notice, including the right to terminate the Services (or any portion thereof).
5. REGISTRATION. Using the Service requires the USER to register and therefore provide certain data and information to Alliance for Missions.
6. RESPONSIBILITIES AND CONDUCT OF USERS AND DATA RIGHTS. USERs agree that all information they provide through the Service is accurate, correct, complete, and current. USERs agree not to use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate purpose. The USER agrees that he or she is not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country that the United States has (i) embargoed goods, (ii) identified as a “Specialty Designated National,” or (iii) placed on the Commerce Department’s Table of Deny Orders. Use of the Service is void where prohibited. The USER represents that he or she is not in a country in which providing the Service is regulated or illegal.
7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY. The Service, the website through which the Service is provided, and its entire contents, features and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video and audio, and the design, selection and arrangement thereof), are owned by the Alliance for Missions, its licensors or other providers of such material and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights. Alliance for Missions grants USER a limited nonexclusive, nontransferable, permission to access the Service for the period the USER is using the Services, and conditioned on full compliance with these Terms and Conditions, solely for the purpose of using the Services. USERs MUST NOT modify or copy the materials;
use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the School’s web site; remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or transfer the materials to another person or 'mirror' the materials on any other server. USERs MUST NOT reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store or transmit any of the material on the website upon which the Services is provided. This license shall automatically terminate if the USER violates any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Alliance for Missions at any time. Upon terminating viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, the USER must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format. The USER agrees not to hold himself or herself out as in any way sponsored by, affiliated with, providing services on behalf of, or endorsed by Alliance for Missions, any of its affiliates, or any of its service providers. The USER agrees not to defame or disparage Alliance for Missions or other USERs, the trademarks or service marks of Alliance for Missions, or any aspect of the Service. Alliance for Missions name, logo, and any other indicators of source, such as product and service names, designs and slogans are trademarks of Alliance for Missions. USERs must not use such marks without the prior written permission of Alliance for Missions. All rights are reserved, no titles, rights, licenses, or permissions are granted except as expressly set forth in these Terms and Conditions. No implied licenses are granted.
8. TRANSMISSION OF DATA TO OTHER COUNTRIES. Personal information provided by a USER in using the Service is processed in the United States, where privacy laws may be less stringent than the laws in a USER’s home country and where the government, courts, or law enforcement may be able to access the USER’s information. By submitting your personal information to Alliance for Missions, the USER agrees to the transfer, storage and processing of their information in the United States.
9. LIMITED LIABILITY. IN NO EVENT SHALL ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM USING THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OR CORRUPTION OF DATA OR PROGRAMS, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS AND PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES, EVEN IF ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS KNOWS OR HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY, ON ANY FORM OF ACTION WHATSOEVER IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT, EXCEED THE LESSER OF THE FEES PAID BY THE USER FOR THE SERVICE OR $55 DOLLARS. IN NO EVENT SHALL ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER DIRECT, INDIRECT, GENERAL, SPECIAL, COMPENSATORY, CONSEQUENTIAL, AND/OR INCIDENTAL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF YOU OR ANYONE ELSE IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, BODILY INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, AND/OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES RESULTING FROM THE PROVIDED SERVICES.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS PROVIDES THE SERVICE ON AN “AS IS” BASIS AND GRANTS NO WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICE. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, QUIET ENJOYMENT, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS DISCLAIMS, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANY WARRANTIES FOR ANY INFORMATION OR ADVICE OBTAINED THROUGH THE SERVICE. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, ALWAYS AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT IT WILL MEET THE USER’S REQUIREMENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS IN THIS SERVICE WILL BE CORRECTED. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR, AND NO WARRANTY IS MADE WITH RESPECT TO, THE CONNECTIVITY AND AVAILABILITY TO THE SERVICE.
11. EXCLUSIVE USE. Upon being registered the USER will be able to create a unique personal username and password. The username must be the USER’s personal email. Each individual is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of his or her own username and password and is solely responsible for all activities that occur under the account associated with it. The USER account is for personal and individual use. The USER may not authorize others to use the account, and the USER may not assign or otherwise transfer the account to any other person or entity. The USER agrees to safeguard the username and password information used to access the services provided by our company. The USER authorizes Alliance for Missions to assume that any person using the services with the name and login information is registered and has authority for such use.
12. THIRD PARTY ADVERTISERS. The USER’s correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, advertisers found on or through the Alliance for Missions website, whether by official site “links” or by pop-up ads, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between the USER and such advertiser. The USER agrees that Alliance for Missions shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such advertisers on the Alliance for Missions website.
13. Attorneys’ Fees and Cost. If either party brings any action to enforce their rights under this Agreement, the prevailing party may recover its expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) incurred in connection with the action and any appeal from the losing party. The term “prevailing party” means the party obtaining substantially the relief sought, whether by compromise, settlement or judgment.
14. Entire Agreement. This Agreement contains the entire Agreement of the parties and there are no other promises or conditions in any other Agreement whether oral or written. This Agreement supersedes any prior written or oral Agreements between the parties.
15. Applicable Law and Venue. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, United States of America, without regard to where the course materials are created, or where the USER watch the educational materials provided by Alliance for Missions. Any action to enforce any part of this Agreement shall be brought in the Circuit Court of Madison County, Alabama, United States of America.
16. Severability. If any provision of this Agreement shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. If a court finds that any provision of this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then such provision shall be deemed to be written, construed, and enforced as so limited.
17. WAIVER. No provision hereof and no breach of any provision hereof shall be deemed waived by any previous waiver of such provision or of any breach thereof, by any previous custom, practice or course of dealing or by Alliance for Missions’s failure to object to provisions contained in any communication or order from the USER.

El USUARIO reconoce que la instrucción provista aquí de conformidad con este Acuerdo está destinada al beneficio personal del USUARIO y no se utilizará de otra manera, excepto para la propagación de la fe cristiana.
3. TERMINACIÓN. Tanto el USUARIO como Alliance for Missions pueden cancelar la cuenta del USUARIO en cualquier momento, por cualquier motivo, o sin motivo alguno, sin explicación. EN NINGÚN CASO ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS SERÁ RESPONSABLE DE CUALQUIER DAÑO INCIDENTAL, ESPECIAL, CONSECUENTE O INDIRECTO QUE SURJA O ESTÉ RELACIONADO CON EL USO O LA INCAPACIDAD PARA USAR EL SERVICIO, O LOS RESULTADOS OBTENIDOS DEL USO DEL SERVICIO, INCLUYENDO SIN LIMITACIÓN, LUCRO CESANTE, DAÑOS POR PÉRDIDA O CORRUPCIÓN DE DATOS O PROGRAMAS, INTERRUPCIONES DEL SERVICIO Y CONTRATACIÓN DE SERVICIOS SUSTITUTOS, AUNQUE ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS CONOZCA O HAYA SIDO ADVERTIDA DE LA POSIBILIDAD DE DICHOS DAÑOS. BAJO NINGUNA CIRCUNSTANCIA LA RESPONSABILIDAD TOTAL DE ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS, EN CUALQUIER FORMA DE ACCIÓN EN RELACIÓN CON ESTE ACUERDO, EXCEDERÁ LA MENOR DE LAS TARIFAS PAGADAS POR EL USUARIO POR EL SERVICIO O $55 DÓLARES. EN NINGÚN CASO ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS SERÁ RESPONSABLE POR CUALQUIER DAÑO, YA SEA DIRECTO, INDIRECTO, GENERAL, ESPECIAL, COMPENSATORIO, CONSECUENTE Y/O INCIDENTAL, QUE SURJA O ESTÉ RELACIONADO CON SU CONDUCTA O CUALQUIER OTRA EN RELACIÓN CON EL USO DE EL SERVICIO, INCLUYENDO SIN LIMITACIÓN, LESIONES CORPORALES O DAÑOS A LA PROPIEDAD, ANGUSTIA EMOCIONAL Y/O CUALQUIER OTRO DAÑO RESULTANTE DE LOS SERVICIOS PROPORCIONADOS.
10. RENUNCIA DE GARANTÍAS. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS PROPORCIONA EL SERVICIO “ASI COMO ESTÁ” Y NO OTORGA GARANTÍAS DE NINGÚN TIPO, YA SEA EXPLÍCITA, IMPLÍCITA, LEGAL O DE CUALQUIER OTRO TIPO, CON RESPECTO AL SERVICIO. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS RENUNCIA ESPECÍFICAMENTE CUALQUIER GARANTÍA IMPLÍCITA DE COMERCIABILIDAD, IDONEIDAD PARA UN FIN EN PARTICULAR, TÍTULO, DISFRUTE O NO INFRACCIÓN. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS RENUNCIA, EN LA MEDIDA MÁXIMA PERMITIDA POR LA LEY, CUALQUIER GARANTÍA POR CUALQUIER INFORMACIÓN O CONSEJO OBTENIDO A TRAVÉS DEL SERVICIO. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS NO GARANTIZA QUE EL SERVICIO SERÁ SEGURO, ININTERRUMPIDO, SIEMPRE DISPONIBLE, LIBRE DE ERRORES, O QUE CUMPLIRÁ CON LOS REQUISITOS DEL USUARIO, O QUE CUALQUIER DEFECTO EN ESTE SERVICIO SERÁ CORREGIDO. ALLIANCE FOR MISSIONS RENUNCIA A LA RESPONSABILIDAD Y NO SE OFRECE GARANTÍA CON RESPECTO A LA CONECTIVIDAD Y DISPONIBILIDAD DEL SERVICIO.
11. USO EXCLUSIVO. Al registrarse, el USUARIO podrá crear un nombre-de-usuario y una contraseña personales únicos. El nombre-de-usuario debe ser el correo electrónico personal del USUARIO. Cada individuo es responsable de mantener la confidencialidad y seguridad de su propio nombre-de-usuario y contraseña y es el único responsable de todas las actividades que ocurran bajo la cuenta asociada a él. La cuenta de USUARIO es para uso personal e individual. El USUARIO no puede autorizar a otros a usar la cuenta, y el USUARIO no puede asignar o transferir la cuenta a ninguna otra persona o entidad. El USUARIO se compromete a resguardar la información del nombre-de-usuario y contraseña utilizada para acceder a los servicios prestados por nuestra empresa. El USUARIO autoriza a Alliance for Missions a asumir que cualquier persona que utilice los servicios con el nombre y la información de inicio de sesión está registrada y tiene autoridad para tal uso.
12. TERCEROS ANUNCIANTES. La correspondencia o los tratos comerciales del USUARIO con, o la participación en promociones de, los anunciantes que se encuentran en o a través del sitio web de Alliance for Missions, ya sea mediante "enlaces" del sitio oficial o mediante anuncios emergentes, incluido el pago y la entrega de bienes o servicios relacionados, y cualquier otro término, condición, garantía o representación asociada con tales tratos, son únicamente entre el USUARIO y dicho anunciante. El USUARIO acepta que Alliance for Missions no será responsable de ninguna pérdida o daño de ningún tipo incurrido como resultado de tales tratos o como resultado de la presencia de dichos anunciantes en el sitio web de Alliance for Missions.
13. Costos y honorarios de abogados. Si cualquiera de las partes inicia alguna acción para hacer valer sus derechos en virtud de este Acuerdo, la parte vencedora puede recuperar los gastos (incluidos los honorarios razonables de los abogados) incurridos en relación con la acción y cualquier apelación de la parte perdedora. El término “parte vencedora” significa la parte que obtiene sustancialmente la compensación buscada, ya sea por compromiso, arreglo o sentencia.
14. Acuerdo completo. Este Acuerdo contiene el Acuerdo completo de las partes y no hay otras promesas o condiciones en ningún otro Acuerdo, ya sea oral o escrito. Este Acuerdo reemplaza cualquier Acuerdo escrito u oral anterior entre las partes.
15. Ley aplicable y jurisdicción. Este Acuerdo se regirá por las leyes del Estado de Alabama, Estados Unidos de América, sin importar dónde se crean los materiales del curso o dónde el USUARIO ve los materiales educativos proporcionados por Alliance for Missions. Cualquier acción para hacer cumplir cualquier parte de este Acuerdo se iniciará en el Circuito de la Corte del condado de Madison, Alabama, Estados Unidos de América.
16. Separabilidad. Si alguna disposición de este Acuerdo se considera inválida o inaplicable por cualquier motivo, las disposiciones restantes seguirán siendo válidas y exigibles. Si un tribunal determina que alguna disposición de este Acuerdo es inválida o inaplicable, pero que al limitar dicha disposición se volvería válida y exigible, entonces dicha disposición se considerará escrita, interpretada y aplicada como limitada.
17. RENUNCIA. Ninguna disposición del presente y ningún incumplimiento de cualquier disposición del presente se considerará renunciado por cualquier renuncia previa a dicha disposición o por cualquier incumplimiento de la misma, por cualquier costumbre, práctica o curso de negociación anterior o por la falta de objeción de Alliance for Missions a las disposiciones contenidas en cualquier comunicación o pedido del USUARIO.
